Wondering whether Graduate School is the right path for you? Have you decided to attend but don't know where to start? No matter your questions, the Graduate Open House is the best venue to have them answered and start conversations with representatives from your program of interest. With more than 20 programs attending, breakout sessions to help current applicants and fee waivers for anyone who applies to Wayne State University Graduate School on the spot, there's no shortage of resources to get you going and keep you informed.

"Visitors will have access to current students to receive a realistic overview of the Wayne State graduate school experience, in addition to nuggets of wisdom regarding mentorship, the application process, and how to fund their education through our breakout sessions," Graduate School Program Outreach Specialist Shantelle Cavin says. "If you're considering graduate school, the Open House is a spectacular event to get you prepared for the journey."

Hear about the WSU graduate student experience from our graduate ambassadors. Current students considering postdoctoral fellowships can speak with participants of the Postdoctoral Association. Other onsite student resource offices will include the Office of Military and Veterans Academic Excellence, the Office of Student Financial Aid and Career Services.

Free parking and refreshments will be available, and a 30-minute campus tour will begin at 5 p.m.

4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, Student Center Ballroom
