Most salaried positions come with health insurance options to keep you and your family healthy and safe. For most new and international workers, this can be both confusing and overwhelming. In this session, you will learn the basics of employer-sponsored health insurance so you are prepared to choose a plan that is right for you. Terms like HMO, PPO, out-of-pocket expenses, and premiums will be explained. Additionally, you will learn background information on the United States health care system and alternatives to employer-sponsored health insurance.
