Summary

The primary research focus is the role of cell adhesion and neuronal self-avoidance in the developing mouse retina, focusing on two families of cell adhesion molecules: the clustered protocadherins and DSCAMs. The lab uses a variety of techniques including mouse genetics and genomics, electroporation and viral gene delivery, primary neuronal culture, and microscopy.

Required qualifications

A Ph.D. in neuroscience, genetics, or related disciplines.
