Leads efforts to develop, manage and implement initiatives, projects and programs to foster a collaborative and diverse team environment and enhance student success. Manages the operations, records and communications of the Graduate Council and its committees. This includes overseeing all public record documents; writing reports and proposals on behalf of the Council and its committees; reviews of proposals for new graduate courses. Responsible for preparation and submission of manuscripts on topics related to best practices in graduate education ranging from PhD career outcomes to microcredentialing and digital badges. Also works with project teams that compile and submit grant proposals for scientific workforce development in collaboration with multiple faculty and staff across all schools and colleges.
