Following the National Institutions of Health (NIH) BEST Consortium's BEST Practices Workshop in September 2017, a group of consortium leaders, including Dean Ambika Mathur, worked to develop guidelines for the larger community to support the creation and implementation of inspiring and effective professional development for Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars. Resources from these workshops on seminar and course design, internships and experiential learning and data collection are now available on the NIH BEST website.
