Graduate Student Appreciation Week

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we think it important to continue to celebrate our students' persistence, resilience and impact at Wayne State University. To do this, the Graduate School will host Wayne State University's first Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW) April 6 - 10. This nationwide event has been around since 1993 with the objective to highlight and acknowledge the contributions, impact and value of graduate students to our campuses and beyond.

Because of the university-wide cancellation of all in-person events, all appreciation will be shown virtually. Keep up with us on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn all week long to learn about the research contributions and impact of some of our fiercest Warriors and for your chance to win t-shirt giveaways. Want to help us celebrate? Just post on any of these social media platforms, use the hashtag #GraduateStudentAppreciationWeek and tag the Graduate School!
